Sewing for Your Home

Give any room a new look with decorative pillows and "one-of-a-kind"
window treatments. You will learn different pillow closure techniques
and styles. Window treatments are easy-as-pie when you know how to do
them! Learn how to calculate yardage for various styles, how to select
material and hardware, the lining of curtains and draperies, and how to
create perfect pleats. You'll work on a project of your choice. Please
bring your sewing machine, basic sewing supplies and one yard of pillow

Herbal Creations with Lavendar

A favorite of Victorian ladies, lavender is not only beautiful in the
garden, but it is a useful herb as well. Recipes and ideas for using
lavender will be discussed and everyone will take home an assortment of
fragrant items, from potpourri and sachets to teas and herb blends. Taught
